Anne W. Burrell has worked as a chef, TV host in America as well as an instructor at the Institute of Culinary Education. Anne W. Burrell hosts of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef for Food Network. Following her graduation with an English and Communication diploma from Canisius College in Buffalo NY she pursued her passion for the restaurant business by enrolling as a student at The Culinary Institute of America. The student says "I was a huge Culinary Institute of America (CIA) student. I loved every minute of it." I was never able to learn or do enough. Following graduation, Chef Burrell resided in Italy for a year, studying at an Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. Additionally, she worked at La Taverna del Lupo and La Bottega del 30 (a Michelin star restaurant) located in Tuscany. The time she spent in Italy allowed her to comprehend and appreciate the Italian way of life and its culture and this has left an impact on her own culinary perspective. Burrell served as a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board to improve children's lives who are facing difficulties. Additionally, she is an Juvenile Research Foundation Celebrity ambassador where she advocates for education about the condition known as juvenile diabetes. As a speaker, Burrell makes trips across the country to speak about her passion for cuisine and to promote her professional career as a chef. Anne said she felt lucky that I could be able to share her passion for cooking with other people.
