Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She began her acting career with supporting roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). On the FX series Dirt she was Willa McPherson in the role of reporter. She also appeared in the supporting role on the show with a short run The Ex List. She played the role of a young Moira O'Hara on the first season of FX's American Horror Story, and was Kaylee in the season's third. She was Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead, and Sophie on the NBC series This Is Us. She voices various characters on Family Guy, an animated comedy. Since 2019, she has appeared as Melinda "Mel" Monroe who is a character from the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10 when her mother and her relocated to California [1and a half years ago] where they lived for a while before arriving in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 years old when she first began to pursue an interest in photography, acting and singing. She relocated to Los Angeles with her mother when she was just 15 years old to pursue a career in acting.
